We are pleased to announce Turtle Island, Aaron Martin's second fabric collection with Elizabeth's Studio. Aaron, a citizen of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, designed this beautiful group to include a wide stripe running parallel to the selvage and a coordinating floral.
Aaron Martin lives in South Bend, Indiana and is a citizen of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. Aaron makes his living as a tattoo artist which allows him to utilizes his artistic skills to create original body art. On his time off, Aaron travels around the Great Lakes region where he attends pow-wows and sings with his family drum, and dances in the traditional men’s woodland style.
Aaron is proficient in watercolor, pen and ink, digital art, and animation. His art is influenced by both Potawatomi traditional culture, and pop culture, as well as fantasy and storytelling.
