Who are we?

Quiltatious is a small, family owned Canadian online fabric store, located in Windsor, Ontario. We started as a local fabric store in Windsor, in the year 2021. Thanks to your growing online support, we became one of the Canadian go-to online fabric shops. In January 2026, we became an exclusively online store.

We are a small team of three women with a clear division of tasks, so we can process your orders accurately and as quickly as possible. Ela, Danielle and Maja work full time to cut, pack, ship your orders, organize the new arrivals, make bundles and kits, and select lines to be put on sale. John is helping us part-time with quilt shows and live online events.

Your satisfaction is our number one priority

We are committed to running our Canadian small family business with honesty, integrity and transparency.

We cut your fabrics accurately and generously. We do not substitute products but issue a refund. If we send you a product in an error, we issue a refund, while advising you to keep the wrong product, most of the time.

We send your orders as quickly as possible. The processing times depend on the volume of orders we receive, the size of the orders, number of cuts in each order. Your purchases are processed in the order in which they are received. We offer expedited or priority shipping option, and we process those orders first, so that you can receive them in time for your planned project.

We always bring you fresh new collections from some of the best fabric brands

We regularly review new catalogue releases from the high quality fabric brands that we carry in our store. We curate our selection very carefully, making sure to provide a wide variety of themed fabrics, seasonal fabrics, blenders, for both modern and traditional quilters. We also plan our purchases so that we can have sufficient quantities for kits, bundles and yardage, and coordinating 108" quilt backs.

We always buy full collections

This means, you have access to all the prints and complementing blenders that come with your favourite collection, so that you can comfortably choose and plan your project. Very rarely will we bring a partial collection, and this is only if it is to complement an existing line that we already have.

We purchase sufficient fabric for quilt kits, for bundles, and to offer it in yardage. This is so that we can offer you options based on your needs and preferences. We also offer coordinating 108" wide quilt backing.

We always make bundles from full collections

As soon as we receive a fabric line, we make bundles that include each print from that line. We often go a step further by adding blenders from that same designer, so that your project planning can be made easy. We will sometimes make "end of line" bundles and offer these at a discount.

We make our own kits, and always include more fabric than the pattern calls for

This way, you have sufficient yardage to make your project. If you want to make you quilt larger, let us know, and we will make sure to include additional yardage.  Very rarely do we buy ready made kits directly from the manufacturer. These are normally the "boxed kits" shown on our website.

We carry an impressive selection of batik fabrics

We currently have over 400 different batik fabrics, and our batik selection is one of the largest in Canada. And, our batik section is growing! Our main batik brand is Banyan Batiks. Our batik selection includes batik yardage, batik bundles and pre-cuts, batik quilt kits, and 108" wide batik. We also carry Island batik pre-cuts. Our current batik inventory includes over 750 products.

We regularly curate our own unique bundles - Quiltatious curated signature bundles

This, especially with our batik fabrics. We love colours, and we love combining colours to make beautifully balanced batik bundles.
Our curated batik bundles come if many different colourways, and they are one of our most popular products. If you would like us to curate a specific bundle for your project, please let us know - it is always our pleasure to help you build that dream project!

Colorworks solids and blender bundles are also a very popular staple at Quiltatious. Also, we offer unique curated bundles from one designer's lines, or from "style compatible" designers.

We often hear from our customers that our "eye for colour" is outstanding. This, in addition to our staff's professional training in design and colour, helps us bring you beautiful, well coordinated, balanced and unique fabric bundles.

We proudly carry only authentic native design fabric from Indigenous Artists

The name of each Indigenous Artist is disclosed with the collection, along with a short biography of that artist. We are honoured to be able to celebrate authentic indigenous art, and to share it with you. We currently carry indigenous fabrics from Betty Albert, Tamara Malcolm, Cody James Houle, Jessica Gokey, Shannon Gustafson, Jessica Somers, Donna The Strange, Loretta Gould, Carla Joseph, Karen Erickson, Renata Meconse, Aaron Martin, Daniel Ramirez, Kevin L. Pee-ace, Leah Marie Dorion, Marc Anthony Jacobson, and we are always bringing new lines from new to Quiltatious artists.

Fabric brands at Quiltatious

Northcott Fabrics - We carry many collections from Northcott Fabrics and its subdivisions - Figo Fabrics, Banyan Batiks, and the newest addition, Anna Maria Textiles. Northcott fabrics releases their catalogues three times a year. We always immediately review and place our orders early, to guarantee delivery of the full collection. We purchase over two thirds of the collections, if not more, from each catalogue.

QT Fabrics - Dan Morris and Morris Creative Group are the best represented QT Fabrics designers at Quiltatious. We love the bohemian, eclectic, designs in rich jewel tones. Again, we carefully review each catalogue release, and we place our orders early, to make sure that we receive the full collection, on time. And, as these collections are consistent in colour and style, you can easily mix and match fabrics from different lines, to create a stunning project.

International Textiles - this Canadian company is our supplier of almost all the authentic indigenous collections that we carry at Quiltatious. Also, all the Indigenous designers that International Textiles collaborates with, are located in Canada.
New collections from Indigenous Artists are released several times a year, and we strive to bring in as many as possible. We always purchase the full fabric lines, and coordinating 1.5" ribbon, if it comes with the line. Currently, we have over 400 different authentic indigenous prints from International Textiles, and we are adding more.

We also carry our own 1.5" satin ribbon, both single side and double side, in close to 200 colours.

Laundry Basket Quilts - we love Edyta Sitar fabrics, and this is our favourite traditional fabric designer. Quiltatious carries many Edyta Sitar collections, and we have one of the largest Edyta Sitar assortments in Canada. We buy full collection from Laundry Basket Quitls, and from each collection, we always make bundles, and kits using Edyta Sitar patterns. If we are unable to bring a collection because our space is limited, we bring Edyta Sitar precuts and bundles.

Other brands that we carry - FreeSpirit Fabrics, Riley Blake Designs, Studio E Fabrics, Blank Quiting, Stof of Danmark, AE Nathan, Robert Kaufman, Timeless Treasures, Andover Fabrics, and more.

We have a large and impressive selection of bundles and precuts

In addition to making our own bundles when we buy the collections, we also carry manufacturer cut bundles and precuts - fat quarter bundles, jelly rolls and layer cakes.

We carry a beautiful selection of cotton flannel

Our flannel comes in 44" and 108" yardage, from Northcott Fabrics, QT Fabrics, Henry Glass Flannel, AE Nathan, Studio E Fabrics.

We offer a beautiful selection of children and baby fabric

We buy the full pack of these cute baby and kids fabrics, we make as many quilt kits as possible, and bundles, and we make sure to stock sufficient yardage so that you can choose for a complete project.

Batting and notions

Our latest batting brand is Matilda's Own from Australia. It comes on bolts and pre-cuts.  We carry a wide range of Aurifil cotton thread, and Mettler polyester thread. Our choice of rotary cutters is the Italian brand Martelli ergonomic cutters. For rulers, we carry Creative Grids. If you need a specific size, please feel free to contact us and we will order it for you. Books, patterns and notions, to make your shopping easy and convenient.

For this reason, we offer a 10 day money back guarantee. The fabrics that we sell are only those that we would use ourselves. A fabric line must pass our "touch and feel test". Since you cannot touch the fabric when you shop online from Quiltatious, it is our job to make sure that the quality of the fabric we ship to you is good. This is why we are consistent with the brands that we carry - this means, consistent quality.

However, if for some reason you are not happy with your purchase, we will accept your return, no questions asked.

We ship by Canada Post and UPS

If your order is $250 or more, AND it consists of only Clearance Items and/or Sale Items, we reserve the right to request payment for shipping. This is because most of these items are sold at cost or close to cost.

While we keep record of all packages shipped, we are not responsible for lost mail sent through Canada Post.

It takes between 1 to 5 Quiltatious working days for us to pack and send your order. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays. The speed depends on the volume of orders we receive, and the number of cuts in your order. Delivery times are 2 to 7 business days, depending on the size of your order and your location.

Return and Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase! We will issue a refund if the fabric we sent you was damaged, or if we sent the wrong item. If you are not happy with the quality of the purchased fabric, please let us know, and we promise to find a solution.

Any returned items will have to be unwashed, unused, in new condition, in original packaging, scent-free, and pet-hair free.
If you are returning cut yardage, you will receive 80% refund. Refund on pre-made kits and bundles is 100%.

If you decide to return an item that was not sent in error, you are responsible for the return shipping fee to us. If you received free shipping, we will deduct the amount of the shipping fee that we paid, and issue a refund for the difference.

Shipping charges that you paid can only be refunded if we sent the wrong item.

Refunds and store credits will be issued only after we have received and inspected the returned item.

Return requests must be submitted within 10 days of receipt of your item in the mail.
